Marco was born in 1977. He was raised in Edinburgh Scotland's capital city brought up on a diet of clubs and raves and the free party seen, Marco’s first real break came in the late 90’s when he entered the Vestax DJ Mixing Competition which he was runner up in the contest, this raised his profile amongst local promoters. Which lead to him being offered a number of gigs, some of which became residencies, around his home town of Edinburgh and various other towns and Cities in Scotland this also led to him supporting artist like Mr C, Kenny Larkin, Larry Heard, Marshall Jefferson, Robert Owens, Mathew Herbert, Felix The Housecat, Seb Fontaine, Jim Shaft Ryan, Murray Richardson and Timo Mass. Marco's rise from total obscurity has been achieved due to his natural ability, genuine enthusiasm, and his constant desire to improve his craft.Technical excellence is very important to Marco, so when he is not playing out you will find him practicing, mixing and experimenting with various styles, endeavouring to constantly improve his already very impressive D.J. capabilities. Marco describes his sound as Mainroom Groovy Business a bit of tech a bit of house which meet in the middle some where and the outcome is magical , he mixes in a style that moves and grabs any dance floor, no matter what direction he chooses to take it, once he has captured you with his inventive style there is no escape until he has spun his last tune .Coming straight from the dance floor, Marco knows instinctively what it is a crowd wants, and how to deliver it, his genuine love for music is abundantly clear. Been into this thing of ours for over 20 years now, my first experience of the rave scene was at the tender age of 14 sweat dripping from the roof and the sound of pumping acid music blaring out and thousands of fellow lunatics jumping around, well i was hooked !! only started doing djing 10 years ago , with some of my influences from mrc , ritchie hawtin, ricardo villalobos and the master dave mothersole as well as some of the hacienda boys . I only do it for the pure enjoyment of the music and as a hobbie, never done any clubs or made any money from it.All my sets are done at random no tune planning or preparation. I also recently got rid of all my vinyl and and decks and got a new pioneer ddj-t1, really liking it so far. Also feedback comments are important and welcome . I first started djing around about 12 years ago when i was 17. It was by chance i knew a dj in a bar and one week he asked me if i could do his set for him as he couldnt make it and gave me a brief lesson on what to do and from there i was hooked. I started getting sets playing hip hop and garage in Doncaster and sheffield and then discovered speed garage in 2001 and then started playing that. During that time myself and 2 others started a label called Gridlockd Records which became one of the biggest labels in the scene in a very short time as we were the only label making original tracks. Fast forward 12 years and in that time i played the first bassline set on bbc 1xtra, put together a compilation for ministry of sound (Maximum bass 2007) And had tracks signed to mos and all around the world (Universal). I decided in 2008 that i wasnt gonna pidgeonhole myself to one genre and went self employed as a dj and tutor. Around that time i got my own show on local legal radio station sine fm and my weekend vibes show did so well they moved me from 2-3 sat afternoon to 6-8 saturday night the show before dj legend graeme park. Nowadays i do a show called the history of Dance music on sine fm 102.6fm in Doncaster or www.sinefm.com worldwide every tuesday evening 8pm-10pm.

He immediately fired a tingling sensation through his body and he felt an immediate love for this music.
